Growing up in the UK, Emily was fortunate enough to have continental Europe on her doorstep. She spent her summers exploring the continent on family vacations, and after she finished school she decided to spend three months backpacking through the many countries it has to offer. Greece stole her heart during the trip, and the following summer she moved to Crete to live and work for 6 months.
By Emily’s early 20’s the travel bug had really taken over. After University she moved to Dubai and secured a job as an International Flight Attendant. The job allowed her to explore parts of the world she could only dream of going to before. It expanded her passion and love for different countries, cultures, and culinary delights.
For the following seven years Emily lived her life out of a suitcase, creating memories that will last a lifetime. From absorbing a countries beauty from above by hang-gliding over Rio, and sky diving in New Zealand to kayaking through the caves of the beautiful Ha Long Bay in Vietnam, and camping out under the stars in the Julian Alps.
Now Emily’s feet are firmly on the ground in Austin, and she is delighted to have joined the Small World Travel team! She is excited to share her passion for exploring the world to help make travel dreams come true!
