Bonnie grew up underneath a flight path close to Boston Logan Airport, the planes seemed close enough that she could wave to the pilots and passengers and that started her interest in travel.
Her travel career started after she graduated from the Travel Education Center in 1981, she has worn many hats over the years from leisure travel, corporate travel, incentive travel, small groups. Today she focuses on family, groups, and destination weddings/romance travel. Bonnie is a Charter Member of DWHSA (Destination Weddings & Honeymoons Specialist Association) and she serves as the Treasurer/Membership/PR Manager on the Northern New England ASTA Chapter Board.
Bonnie has hiked Mount Washington in NH three times, Grand Canyon South Rim once, Half Dome in Yosemite National Park 1 1/2 times, hiked just a little bit at Haleakala Crater on the island of Maui and did this fantastic hiking & biking trip in Switzerland-that was her favorite! Being up in the Swiss Alps was pretty amazing with such breathtaking scenery.
A lot has changed in the travel industry since Bonnie started her career. But, there’s one thing that hasn’t changed and that’s her commitment to her clients. She gets to know them and find out their likes and dislikes, in addition, she continues to keep up with the latest industry trends, attend webinars/zoom meetings, yearly workshops, makes sure her certifications are up-to-date and travels to site inspections. All this helps in making sure that Bonnie has the right destination and the right resort/hotel that will be the best fit for the clients. It’s all about the connections and creating memories through travel.
