Marci fell in love with traveling while living overseas in Germany with her husband and then very young children. Being able to enjoy the culture on a daily basis was a life-changing experience. It’s that type of “experience” she wants her clients to have. She wants them to not only see the sights, but to taste the local foods, enjoy the local festivals, walk the neighborhood streets and drive through the small villages.
To that end, Marci loves creating customized, day-to-day itineraries that invite travelers to “live like a local.” (She’ll take you off the crowded tourist route to the small wineries, authentic restaurants and interesting destinations many travelers miss.) Should you wish to visit Europe via river cruise (one of the easiest ways to explore the continent), she can help you choose the cruise line and itinerary that’s best for you. Marci has years of personal experience sailing Europe’s rivers and the world’s open seas – with groups, small children, teenagers, and on romantic getaways with her husband.
And while Marci never likes to think about travel plans that go awry, she’ll work just as hard for you should the unforeseen occur. Once, an airplane accident in San Francisco caused the SF-bound plane her clients were on to be diverted to Denver. Before her clients had even landed, she made hotel reservations in the event they would need to stay overnight and simultaneously worked with the airline to get her clients rerouted to SFO in time for their departing cruise.
Marci’s goal is to customize each trip to perfection, to bring alive the dream vacation for each and every client.
