Katie is a lifelong adventurer who spent most of her childhood living abroad in the Netherlands, England, Singapore and Norway. After graduating college, she lived in Italy, South Korea and Ireland. Now Katie is usually found traveling with her husband, Austin, and their 3 kids. Travel is her greatest passion and she loves helping others plan the trips of their dreams!

Taking a junk boat through Halong Bay in Vietnam. Not only was it breathtaking but it was my first time traveling solo!

Must-have carry on item:

Print hard copies of everything! Any reservation, confirmation number, ticket, copy of passport/IDs, etc. You never know when you might lose WiFi or your phone might die.
