Jessica Parker is a public relations and marketing expert, specializing in travel and hospitality with a panache for organizing great events. With over a decade of experience in New York City, she worked for top brands such as Singapore Airlines, Expedia, The Bahamas Ministry of Tourism, and Hilton Luxury Brands. She also contributed to the successful launch of Universal’s The Wizarding World of Harry Potter – one of the most intense accounts with celebrities, satellite media tours, onsite TV crews, and logistics galore. From agency life to in-house, Jessica went on to be the Director of Marketing for hoteliers’ Denihan Hospitality Group to manage all facets of marketing and communications for two properties in Manhattan from website to on-site programming development.
While she has broad experience in big brand names, she is also extremely scrappy and knows how to achieve maximum value for her clients on limited budgets. She gives tailored advice and goes above and beyond the call of duty. That’s why she receives many referrals from the media and industry friends. Listening and providing tailored problem-solving or reaching one’s goals is a talent many in the industry don’t possess.
When it was time to draw outside the lines, Jessica took a leap and stepped out on her own to create the agency Trip Whisperer. The strong network foundation turned the dream into a reality. Referrals and consulting requests continue to flow in and the agency has recently grown to accommodate new requests.
From press launches to influencer media trips, Jessica has secured great coverage for her clients. She has built an amazing media and industry network, is the chapter leader of the largest travel community group in NYC called Travel Massive NYC, and put on the annual travel media conference TravelCon with the founder Matt Kepnes, aka Nomadic Matt.
