Allen has extensive experience in strategic/event planning, business development, public relations, sales/marketing, revenue management and partnerships within the Hospitality/Tourism Industry. He spent 5 years with the New York City Convention & Visitors Bureau and helped start up both the Long Island Convention & Visitors Bureau and the Greater Newark, NJ Convention & Visitors Bureau (turning the Newark CVB from a start up to the second largest tourism organization in the state of New Jersey…single handedly in sales). Prior to AVENUE TWO TRAVEL, Allen was the Director of Sales & Marketing for three NYC hotels in Manhattan (TRYP by Wyndham Times Square South, The Paul Hotel and the Econo Lodge Times Square) … responsible for 400 room nights and $16 million in revenue (pre covid) and all meeting spaces.
