DAY 1 –  SAN JUAN, PUERTO RICO – DEPARTS:8:30 PM

FORTIFIED FOR ADVENTURE

Your journey begins in San Juan, Puerto Rico’s vibrant capital. You’ll find 500 years of history to delve into here, from ancient fortresses to colorful colonial-era buildings. If you’re traveling to San Juan by plane, arrive at least a day earlier to explore this beautiful city. If you’re arriving the same day, the airport is just a twenty-minute taxi ride to the port.

EXPLORE EL YUNQUE

El Yunque National Forest offers 29,000 acres of mountain terrain exploding with overgrown jungle, fast flowing waterfalls, and towering bamboo stands. Hike along 23 miles of nature trails, or summit El Toro— nearly 3500 feet above sea level— for sensational views.

LOCAL CUISINE

In Old San Juan, you’ll find plenty of island fare and criolla cuisine— home cooking flavored by Spanish and African influences. Try some mofongo, mashed fried green plantains often stuffed with meat, or snack on some codfish fritters, called bacalaitos.

DAY 2  – PHILIPSBURG, ST.MAARTEN – ARRIVES:8:00 AM DEPARTS:6:00 PM

CROSSROADS OF THE CARIBBEAN

St. Maarten sits at the crossroads of the Caribbean and the Atlantic. It’s also a place where over 120 cultures meet. You can taste it in the island’s cuisine, which is rated among the best in the Caribbean. And you can feel it whether you stay in the upbeat, party-centric Dutch side where the port is located, or cross into the laid-back, local-driven French side of the island.

LOTERIE FARM

Loterie Farm is a nature sanctuary with 135 acres of hiking trails, a zip line adventure course, and a spring fed multi-level pool with cascading waterfalls..

SIMPSON BAY LAGOON

The largest saltwater lagoon in the Caribbean, Simpson Bay is a great spot for lounging and watching the boats and yachts that dot its picturesque harbor.

LOCAL CUISINE

This gourmet capital of the Caribbean serves a mix of French, East Indian and island flavors. Stop by a roadside barbecue stand (called a lolo) and enjoy lobster grilled on split-metal drums. Or dine on stuffed crab and cod fritters at any local cafe. Be sure to try some guavaberry liqueur, made exclusively on the island.

DAY 3 – AT SEA

A BOLDER BOULDER

Rise to the occasion and take on the signature Rock Climbing Wall. From beginners to speed climbers, everyone can enjoy an unparalleled view from 40 feet above deck. Included in your fare, no reservation required.

A TWISTING TURNING ADVENTURE

This tremendous trio of water slides is The Perfect Storm. Typhoon, Cyclone and Supercell are their names, and they’re here to take you on a wet, wild ride.

DAY 4 – AT SEA

A CUT ABOVE THE REST

For more than a decade, the chefs of Chops Grille℠ have proudly presented quality, hand-cut steaks at this hallmark Royal Caribbean restaurant.

MEET YOU AT THE DINER, DADDY-O

With a family-friendly uncomplicated menu that offers all-American good eats and is reminiscent of simpler days, you’ll feel like you stepped back in time to an era of sock hops, soda fountains and drive-in theaters.

DAY 5 – AT SEA – CRUISING

SWIM IT TO WIN IT

Soak up the sun or savor the shade on expanded pool decks, with complimentary loungers, live music, and the opportunity to enjoy a frosty cocktail.

SUN AND SERENITY

Slip away to this adults-only indoor and outdoor retreat. The Solarium is your slice of paradise, with soothing whirlpools, warm sunshine and a refreshing water mist.

DAY 6 – CAPE LIBERTY, NEW JERSEY – ARRIVES: 6:00 AM

ADVENTURE STATE OF MIND

Take a scenic ferry boat ride from Battery Park to Liberty Island for an up-close visit to the iron-clad Statue of Liberty. Climb to the crown for a rewarding harbor panorama. Then cruise to nearby Ellis Island to browse a moving collection of documents, photographs and film footage in its Immigration Museum.

LOCAL CUISINE

With some 20,000 sit-down restaurants, this is a foodie’s paradise. Many iconic dishes have been rubber-stamped by New York— pizza, bagels, hot dogs and cheesecake included. Savor steamy dumplings in Chinatown. Slurp down Blue Point oysters in Chelsea Market. Or munch on the legendary cronut. Then sip a Manhattan cocktail to cap off the night.

SHOPPING

This global shopping capital covers it all: from big department stores like Barney’s along glitzy Madison Avenue, to souvenir shops selling “I Love NY” T-shirts. Hit up the Historic Orchard Street Shopping District for leather goods, or SoHo for cutting-edge fashions. Greenwich Village is best for books, records and craft shops.
